Tena koutou katoa

Kia ora tatou to whoever reads this blog. My name is Mrs Cook and I have returned to Rotorua Intermediate after a years leave. I was hoping to teach in Australia with a pal of mine from Kaitao Intermediate but unfortunately I broke my tibia and fibula at McDonalds in town. I was purchasing a breakfast for myself and a student who came 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Athletics when I slipped on their freshly mopped tile floor!!

I wasn't able to travel on a plane with a cast on my leg so when I was rehabilitated Iwas very lucky to become a reliever at Rotorua Girls High for two days and three days at Rotorua Lakes High School. What a fantastic experience especially at Girls where I caught up with former students who I taught in the first few years at Rotorua Intermediate!

2010 at Rotorua Intermediate - I am in a new appointed position of teacher for MAORI ENHANCEMENT releasing the leaders of the school and teaching their classes. Maori Enhancement is the language taught parallel to Chinese, French, Spanish and the like.
